Air Mattresses are known to be very relaxing and are capable of stimulating the blood flow within a user's body due to its alternating pressure and low air loss treatment. Here at Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies, we recommend two Air Mattresses. The first Air Mattress we recommend is the American National Alternating Pressure/Low Air Loss mattress. This Air Mattress contains powerful air cells, which are vented to produce True-Low-Air Loss therapy. This therapy allows the user to feel satisfied, both in alternation or static modes of operation. The air cells lay on a two-inch coated foam protection pad for additional patient security throughout patient transfers or power outages. This foam protection pad is surfaced with a waterproof body to prevent cross-contamination of bodily fluids. The quilted top cover is also highly vapor permeable and entirely machine washable. The whole system is transportable and can easily fit onto most hospital bed frames. The microprocessor-controlled blower system emphasizes a distinct 1 in 3 True Alternating Low-Air-Loss therapy. The alternating cycle rate can be changed from three to twenty minutes in increments of one minute. The second Air Mattress we recommend is the American National Rotational/Low Air Loss mattress. This Air Mattress features a support surface with twenty interchangeable air cells combined with side support bolster that shelters the patient while rotating. The whole system remains enclosed in a long-lasting woven foundation, and the polyurethane-coated top covering is waterproof, still, highly vapor permeable. Additionally, the complete system is entirely transportable and suits most regular medical bed frames.
