A state-of-the-art mattress replacement system with alternating pressure therapy that promotes pressure redistribution and creates a secure and comfortable healing environment to effectively treat and prevent pressure ulcers.
The Alternating Pressure Low-Air-Loss Mattress combines the benefits of "True Low Air Loss" technology with a distinctive 1 in 3 Alternation feature, offering a comprehensive replacement mattress system.
Ideal for high-stage pressure ulcer care and treatment, the mattress offers a 40-degree rotation to both the left and right. The main advantage is the programmable rotation cycle, which enables users to have the mattress automatically rotate them from side to side.
The Hill-Rom Synergy Air Elite uses a tri-cell therapy system to offer top of the line skin protection and prevent against skin breakdown. This mattress is only available for rent with the Hill-Rom CareAssist ES Deluxe Long Term Care Bed Rental!
The VersaCare P500 surface is an easy to use, wound care solution that can help you meet your patients’ diverse needs. This surface can help reduce pressure ulcer prevalence by addressing the key factors attributed to skin breakdown: pressure, friction, shear and moisture. Advanced Microclimate™ technology supports the removal of heat and moisture helping keep the patient's skin cool, dry and comfortable. Heat and moisture build-up can negatively affect the skin, making it more susceptible to damage. In addition, the advanced weight-based pressure redistribution technology in the VersaCare P500 Surface adjusts to the patient's weight and position to support the right balance between envelopment and support.

Hospital Bed Rental
FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
Will My Insurance Pay For The Hospital Bed Rental?
Most insurance companies do cover hospital bed rentals, but the only bed that they will pay for is the Basic Semi-Electric Bed. Unfortunately, we do not work with any insurance companies for our bed rentals. Our higher-end beds such as the Hill-Rom or Joerns Ultracare would not be covered by any insurance companies. All of our rental beds are private pay.
Do you guys charge for delivery to the home?
With all of our hospital beds, a delivery & pickup fee would apply. The fee varies depending on the distance from us and the bed rental model chosen from our variety of beds. The delivery & pickup fees include set-up into the home, training on proper use, and sanitization after the rental is completed.
How does same-day delivery work?
Same-Day Delivery is available for all of our bed rentals. We recommend customers needing same-day delivery call early in the morning before noon. This way we can put the delivery in for today and no extra fees would be charged. For customers needing same-day rush delivery, extra fees may be applied for rush delivery.
If I do not keep the bed for the entire month do I get my money back?
With all of our beds that have only a monthly rate, the price is a flat rate regardless of if the customer has it for only 1 day or the entire 30-day rental period. Under no circumstances will we pro-rate our bed rentals. For beds that have a weekly and monthly rate, if the customer pays for the entire month and requests to return it in the first week we would convert the rental to a weekly rental and refund the difference. This only applies to our rental beds which have a weekly rate.
Hospital bed rentals are one of the most common medical equipment rentals. We at Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies have a wide variety of bed selections. We offer hospital bed rentals for both long and short-term use. All hospital beds we carry are from the highest quality manufacturers, such as Invacare, Jeorns, Hill Rom, and many more. Our experienced staff understands the smallest details of medical necessity for each patient. Therefore, we know exactly what features each customer needs to have on their hospital bed.
In addition to our high-quality hospital beds for rent, we offer a big selection of mattresses. Our inventory is always filled with air mattresses, which alternate pressure, as well as foam mattresses, which provide pressure relief.
Our qualified team understands the importance of keeping rental equipment clean and sanitized. Each hospital bed for rent gets thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every customer.

FAA Approved
FAA Portable Oxygen Concentrator Guidelines
This final rule replaces the existing process by which the Federal Aviation Administration (Agency or FAA) approves portable oxygen concentrators (POC) for use on board aircraft in air carrier operations, commercial operations, and certain other operations using large aircraft. The FAA currently assesses each POC make and model on a case-by-case basis and if the FAA determines that a particular POC is safe for use on board an aircraft, the FAA conducts rulemaking to identify the specific POC model in an FAA regulation. This final rule replaces the current process and allows passengers to use a POC on board an aircraft if the POC satisfies certain acceptance criteria and bears a label indicating conformance with the acceptance criteria. The labeling requirement only affects POCs intended for use on board aircraft that were not previously approved for use on aircraft by the FAA. Additionally, this rulemaking will eliminate redundant operational requirements and paperwork requirements related to the physician's statement. As a result, this rulemaking will reduce burdens for POC manufacturers, passengers who use POCs while traveling, and affected aircraft operators. This final rule also makes conforming amendments to the Department of Transportation's (Department or DOT) rule implementing the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA) to require carriers to accept all POC models that meet FAA acceptance criteria as detailed in this rule.
